I give your hopes, beliefs and dreams their voice. I love “love” and I know how to tell stories people want to hear.
I have a thirst for people’s authenticity and a knack for asking the right questions. My background as a television news reporter/anchor has helped me to understand what it takes to capture an audience (your guests).
I am originally from Connecticut but my work has taken me all over the world, from New York City to Louisiana and Hong Kong to Israel. I crave the knowledge and understanding of diverse cultures and customs. It was a dream of mine and after much manifestation; I now call Miami Beach home. I never take for granted my daily walks along the beach with my dog Maria, because it helps my soul swim with gratitude. I can officiate your ceremony anywhere throughout South Florida including the Florida Keys and up through Naples.
Incorporating a ring blessing into your wedding ceremony is such a special way to involve all of your guests. A ring blessing is when you give your loved ones the opportunity to pass around and hold your wedding bands with a wish, blessing or prayer for your marriage. By the time your rings make it on to your fingers they will be saturated with the love of your friends and family.

Your wedding vows should be as unique as you are. Together we can decide on whether to create special vows sacred to the two of you or if you choose, we can incorporate traditional promises.
On January 6, 2015 Florida became the 36th state to recognize gay marriage. After a 17-year courtship that included raising children together, and then welcoming grandchildren into their family, Maria and Irene made their union official in front of family and friends. I met them less than one week before the big day and together we crafted a meaningful celebration.
In a Celebrant ceremony, you, the honorees are empowered. Nothing is imposed on you or your partner. Instead, in a collaborative process, I will guide you in choosing rituals, readings, symbols and music to fulfill your ideals and vision for the Ceremony.
“Stephanie is one the most gifted people I've ever encountered when it comes to crafting a story. She listens. She emotes. And, she truly cares. Stephanie's knack for weaving a narrative is unparalleled. Her warmth and your loving spirit come through. To work with Stephanie is a gift!”
“It was really important to my husband and I that our guests feel included by taking part in some symbolic rituals that she gracefully lead (gathering of stones, collection of sand, ocean offering of flowers). Stephanie is a first class speaker. Classy, cool, charismatic and someone who truly cared about our story.”

Lighting a Unity Candle or a Blessing Candle during your wedding ceremony is a way to symbolize your two lives joining together as one. If your ceremony is small enough, perhaps your guests can also take part in the ritual. The fire represents the light and strength of two people in love.
If you and your partner come from different spiritual, religious or cultural backgrounds, I can create a blended ceremony that honors each of your families’ beliefs, heritages and traditions.
“You dance inside my chest where no one sees you, but sometimes I do.”-Rumi
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this.”
- Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets
“A soul mate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can loved for who we are and not for who we are pretending to be.”
I promise to give you the best of myself and to ask of you no more than you can give. I promise to accept you the way you are. I fell in love with you for the qualities, abilities, and outlook on life that you have, and won't try to reshape you in a different image. I promise to respect you as a person with your own interests, desires, and needs, and to realize that those are sometimes different, but no less important than my own. I promise to keep myself open to you, to let you see through the window of my personal world into my innermost fears and feelings, secrets and dreams. I promise to grow along with you, to be willing to face change as we both change in order to keep our relationship alive and exciting. And finally, I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all I feel inside in the only way I know how... completely and forever.
“Love is the bridge between you and everything.”
